week 4 ( monday )
[It's a bright new week (and by that I mean it's probably been an awkward start to the week for two certain plotters), and Setz is peering curiously at Worth Every Penne, because finally! A place to eat that isn't McDonald's again! But he's taking a look before he heads inside.
Yo, Akira.]
Yo, Akira.]

Cheese is fine. Everything is fine so far! Thank god. (So far.)
In any case, Setz will just let Akira take the lead since he's not sure if human customs differ from vampire customs, so.]
no subject
[anyway, they get a table! and I guess some shadow person comes to serve them a basket of bread sticks, after a while?]
[garlic bread sticks]
These are the best part of any fine Italian meal.
no subject
[Huh.
He feels weird, but he can't quite pinpoint why just yet...]
no subject
[womp there it is]
Have you had garlic bread before, Setz?
[1/2]
no subject
[HAHAHAHAHA BYE SUDDENLY GETTING UP NOW.]
no subject
-- Setz?? Hey, wait!
[bolts up to trot after him, leaving their warm breadsticks behind :(]
What's wrong?
no subject
Anyhow, Setz doesn't stop until he's out of the restaurant, safe and away from garlic.]
I, um.
I can't handle garlic.
no subject
[opens his mouth. closes it again. just looks kind of. . . bewildered, to be frank?]
Vvvvampire?
[it's a joke, actually. he doesn't mean it. he doesn't think Setz is a vampire at all]
no subject
Awkward silence.]

You know, why don't we try the Maid Cafe instead? It isn't McDonald's, even though I'm not exactly sure it's your style.
no subject
Um...
[Maid... cafe...?]
no subject
I think I saw pancakes on their menu. No garlic included.

no subject
Because all the servers are dressed as maids and butlers.
[. . .]
It's-- a niche. . . thing.
[shut up Akira you totally have gone to a maid cafe before]
no subject
[??? as nobility who had actual maids and butlers, he doesn't see the appeal, but whatever.]
no subject
[ANYWAY, TO THE MAID CAFE!! which Akira will pay for, too. enjoy your pancakes when they get there, Setz. at least it isn't burgers]
no subject
Anyhow, when they get there, Setz also doesn't bat an eye at being called "Master", which might tell Akira something (... though it does kind of weird him out, seeing as how these actually aren't his servants, but).
THANK GOD, NO GARLIC. And it's still something besides McDonald's!!]
no subject
[well, anyway! they have a nice table at the maid cafe now, out of the way of most of the shadow patrons, and pancakes on the way]
You know, now that we're here? I want to share some things I learned today with you.
no subject
... What are they?
no subject
I met the Composer today.
[oh]
no subject
What?
no subject
She finally granted my request.

[dragging his finger along the edges of whatever glass of drink he ordered, idk. probably water]
But these are the things she told me that really stand out.
[he holds up two things]
The first: communication is very important for this Game's success.
And the second: we'll have a better chance at achieving what we want the longer the Game goes on. As an example. . . she told me that Max said people are judged based on the actions they take within the Game. The outcome would be different if everyone is judged at the end of this week, versus the end of week eight.
Which is still bullshit, but you catch my drift. It lends. . . credibility, to the conclusion I drew about reaching the time limit.
[provided Composer-san wasn't like, lying]
