week 2 ( wednesday )
[On the one hand, they have beds now. On the other hand, Setz doesn't care, because he has absolutely no intention of sleeping in that place. Good for everyone else, though.
Still, he doesn't stray too far from the area, since he knows that Jacopo isn't done with him and the last thing he needs is another lecture about wandering off on top of what he's already going to get. He knows it isn't undeserved, but—well, admittedly, he can't say it irks him now. With all adrenaline gone, and the others taken care of, he's left exhausted and empty inside.
Leaning against a wall, arms crossed, he waits.]

he sighs — before leaning next to him, looking forward. ]
What the hell happened in there? Don't spare me any detail. I want to hear all of it.

... Maybe Jacopo is just saving it. Calm before the storm?]
It was pitch black when we entered—at some point, we couldn't even see the entrance that we came through. The idea was to stick together. [...] Then music began playing, and...
[He takes in a breath, before letting it out.]
Eleanor started hearing things. She took off, and that's how we got separated. Eventually, I—I think we all started hearing things, but different from each other. I'm not sure. The music was deafening too, so I couldn't really hear anything but...
[... But his own hallucination (because that's what it was, wasn't it?). His tone is strained; he can't fault Jacopo if the man wants elaboration, but he can't bring himself to talk about what he heard on his own initiative.]
... Eventually, I hit a wall, so I started looking for the light switch. I ended up running into a Noise instead.
[He reaches up to touch the marks on his face. Presumably healed by Clarke, but they'll likely leave scars. He wouldn't mind so much, if they didn't uncomfortably remind him of Nil.]
I don't know if Eleanor was even aware I was there, but she attacked it with a glass bottle—I think it was her, anyway. [He couldn't tell in the moment, but based on the aftermath...] I guess I was a little too close, but I'm lucky she didn't hit me by accident.
... The Noise shrieked, and that brought down some of the structure on Eleanor. [He winces, recalling her wound.] I managed to turn on the light shortly after, and then Clarke and I dealt with the Noise. Everything was just about over by then.

[ he says it scathingly. he listens intently, despite the display he showed earlier, and his eyes flit over setz' face. ]
You aren't fine. I can see that clearly. There's no use in hiding that from me — we're partners.
[ a beat. ]
You didn't explain where the bruise came from.

[They've done the blame game already and Setz is still pretty sure this is all his own fault.
—Oh. Setz blinks in surprise, his hand going to where he was struck. He should've expected it to leave a bruise, but...]
... It's nothing.

[ he stares. ]
Who did it.
no subject
It doesn't matter. I understand why they did it.

[ he stares. hard. ]
Tell me or I'll find out for myself.
no subject
Don't. This doesn't concern you.
no subject
It does now.

[ he's still walking away, but he does turn to glare daggers at him. ]
Why are you convinced that it doesn't matter if you get hurt? Do you truly loathe yourself that much?

[He takes a few steps after Jacopo, not quite pursuing him, but.
Regardless, at Jacopo's question, he freezes. Whether he hates himself or not—it's not something he's ever thought too much about before. (Because, for so long, this was just "how things were".)
After a moment, he snaps himself out of it. That's not important. Right now, he's worried Jacopo is going to do something rash (such as, say, go after the offender).]
That's beside the point. What are you going to do?
no subject
[ he's already leaving, it's all good and well. ]
Tch. It's not as though you trust me anyways.
no subject
That doesn't mean—damn it, Jacopo, don't do anything stupid!
